CURLING fans can pay as they throw at the intu Braehead Curling Rink from this weekend.
This season’s Saturday Sweep curling sessions begin on Saturday, October 3 between 11.45am and 2.15pm and are being staged throughout the months until April 2016.
The Saturday Sweep means curlers at any level of ability can pay just £10 in advance or £15 on the day for game without being members of a club. The ticket price also includes an introduction to curling for novices, a warm session as well as a game.
Scott Martin, general manager of intu Braehead Leisure, said: “Whether you’re a curling expert or a first-timer, this is a great chance to come on down to our rink for a game. All you need is a clean pair of trainers, a warm jumper and a sense of fun.”
Tickets can be purchased online at www.intu.co.uk/braehead or from the Curling Bar on the day.
