A WE::-known Aberdeen facility offering care for the elderly has celebrated its recent refurbishment with an Open Day.
Rubislaw Park Care Home has recently undergone significant upgrading work thanks to new owners Rubislaw Care LLP.
As part of a £22 million investment programme in the city, the 64-bed home has been rejuvenated throughout including the refurbishment of lounges and bedrooms, the creation of a new restaurant/dining room, bar, celebration room for private functions, cinema, spa salon and library.
Staff, residents, families and invited guests gathered for the special event to mark the occasion and Aberdeen’s Lord Provost George Adam attended to perform the official re-opening, hosted by Rubislaw Care LLP directors.
A piper was on hand to offer a rousing welcome to a steady stream of visitors who enjoyed drinks and canapés in the new foyer bar and mouth-watering afternoon teas in one of the luxuriously refurbished communal areas.
Commenting on the event, Rubislaw Park Care Home managing director, Paul Beaumont, said: “We were delighted to share the end result of this significant project which further underlines our ethos of providing luxury care in Aberdeen.”
