MARKET-leading Downhole Products has unveiled a significant addition to its suite of products at Offshore Europe 2015 in Aberdeen.
During a visit to the company’s stand by Aberdeenshire Provost Hamish Vernal, the company unveiled its new, advanced casing drilling centraliser, CaseRunner™.
CaseRunner™ was originally developed by Downhole Products’ family team Ian, Andy and Nathan Kirk for the Norwegian market and, due to its successful application, it is now ready to be marketed globally.
The proven system comprises a specialist-engineered torque reducing centraliser and high holding force stop collar designed specifically for the casing drilling/liner drilling market.
It uses the latest technology and materials to improve on existing solutions by maximising centralisation and minimising torque, vibration and ECD when casing drilling.
Downhole Products vice-president, Mark Dundee, explained: “We are delighted that the Aberdeenshire Provost was able to visit our stand to learn about this exciting new development which combines cost efficiency with ease of installation.
