A NORTH-east storage specialist has made a key appointment to assist with the continued growth of the company.
Greenwell Equipment (Greenwell), which is based in Aberdeen, has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Alan Western.
Mr Western, 39, has extensive experience of warehouse management and commercial sales having spent 17 years with builders’ merchants, Jewson, in Aberdeen, managing workloads and supervising sales and transport for the firm.
Greenwell sales manager, Scott Brown, said: “His extensive knowledge of commercial sales and exceptional customer service skills fit well into the ethos of Greenwell as we pride ourselves in the personal and reliable service we offer.
“Alan is a great darts captain, encouraging the team along to deliver the results and I am sure he will do the same at Greenwell.
“2015 has been a very busy year as we continue to supply modular buildings to two of the biggest civil engineering projects in Scotland – the AWPR/B-T and Queensferry Crossing projects, so the time is right to strengthen our team.”
Mr Western added: “I am happy to be joining Greenwell at an exciting time in the company’s development. I enjoy working in a busy environment and look forward to bringing in even more business and ensuring the very best in sales support and service.”
Greenwell, which also supplies containers, modular buildings and office furniture is a family-run company which currently employs 17 people.
