EMPLOYEES of Chivas Brothers, the Scotch whisky and premium gin business of Pernod Ricard, have nominated and chosen their Charities of the Year 2015.
The charities, which span the main geographical areas of the business, are:
- The Jake McCarthy Foundation (London and Plymouth region)
- The Kiltwalk (Dunbartonshire region)
- Dunbartonshire Disability Sports Club (Paisley, Glasgow and Ayrshire region)
- The Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children (Northern Scotland region)
Each charity has received £5,000 as a donation to their work. Jennie Norrish, head of Communications at Chivas Brothers, said: “I’m delighted to announce the four charities that were chosen by our employees and have now received £5,000 each.
“These four diverse causes – from national organisations to very local ones – were chosen from a shortlist of charities nominated and then voted upon by our employees.”
