MILLER Hendry have announced that six members of the legal team have been promoted within the firm.
Aileen Scott has been promoted to associate in Miller Hendry’s Private Client Department. Formerly a senior solicitor with the firm, Aileen deals with the administration of executries, estate and inheritance tax planning, guardianships, wills and powers of attorney and has many years of experience in this area.
Also within Miller Hendry’s Private Client department, the firm have announced the promotions of Mhairi Cage and Leann Brown to the posts of senior solicitor.
Mhairi is accomplished in dealing with private client matters including wills, powers of attorney, executries, guardianships, inheritance tax planning, trusts and charities.
Leann specialises in private client work including wills, powers of attorney, executries, trust administration and estate planning.
Three other departments will also benefit from promotions including commercial property, court and residential property.
Lyndsey Foggarty, a solicitor in the Commercial Property Department, has been promoted to senior solicitor. Lyndsey specialises in security work and commercial property transactions.
James Reekie, a solicitor in the Court Department, has also been promoted to the role of senior solicitor. James specialises in the fields of landlord and tenant law, as well as separation and divorce.
Julie Darroch, a residential property expert, was also promoted to senior solicitor earlier this year. Julie is the third generation of the Darroch family to work for the firm, following in the footsteps of her father, Fraser Darroch, and John Darroch, her paternal grandfather.
