A NEW, high-end interiors design studio, Millers1893 will open in Bridgeton, following a launch party next week (June 11 2015).
Millers1893 is brainchild of David Millard and will benefit from the extensive heritage in the Millard family, who have supplied flooring since David’s grandfather started dealing in linoleum in 1893 from the very same warehouse in Bridgeton.
Millers1893 will provide luxury interior products including flooring and wall coverings, artisan paints and state of the art lighting and heating.
As UK agents, they will exclusively distribute brands including Listone Giordano, La Fabbrica Porcelain Tiling, Murrato Cork, as well as supplying their own range of carpeting and wooden flooring.
Commenting, David Millard of Millers1893 says: “We are delighted to open our funky new Design Studio.
“For the first time architects, interior designers, developers as well as home-owners used to having to travel to London’s Clerkenwell or Chelsea Harbour will be able to source luxury interior products in Scotland – so it’s no wonder there’s a buzz in the industry in the run up to our opening.
‘It’s great to be going back to our roots in the east end of Glasgow – where my great grandfather started trading back in the 1890s.”
