COFFICIENT Ltd, the Renfrewshire-based ERP implementation specialists, have announced today that NetSuite implementation for Mail Marketing Business Solutions is now complete.
Says a spokesperson: “Mail Marketing Business Solutions is widely recognised as an industry leader in the UK marketing support industry.
“Services include mailing, data, print, response management and distribution and handling.
“One of the few marketing support companies located in Scotland, Mail Marketing Business Solutions had a requirement for a solution which could handle quite complex fulfilment processes and which could offer visibility into job profitability and logistics.
“The consolidation of multiple systems into the one NetSuite solution, whilst challenging, has presented multiple benefits.”
Chris Kinnaird, MD of Mail Marketing Scotland, said: “It’s easy to be risk-averse and to find obstacles to prevent implementation. It’s not an easy undertaking to move people and data from multiple operating systems, but it has been a very worthwhile exercise.
“The biggest change has been our ability to control everything from one system.
“We’ve moved from having a multitude of legacy systems controlling our stock, finances, warehousing… to just one system.
“Work load has decreased and we have noticed several efficiencies and cost savings, as a result.
“We have minimised our expenditure on our upgrades and maintenance costs for multiple operating systems and our training costs have been reduced as a result of the consolidation.”
The spokesperson continued: “Due to the unique nature of the business, the NetSuite solution required a lot of customisation in order to meet Mail Marketing’s business requirements.
“One of the big benefits NetSuite brings to the Mail Marketing business is the number of modules which can be added to the solution.
“Modules come ‘out the box’ and add real value to the existing solution. That said, it is the flexibility of the NetSuite architecture which has been the big bonus for Mail Marketing.”
Added Mr Kinnaird: “Our business is fairly unique in terms of our offering and processes. The thing which has impressed me the most about this project was Cofficient’s willingness to really get under the skin of our business, to truly understand our requirements, then build us a solution which not only met our requirements, but, more importantly, those of our clients.”
Paul Tindal, director at Cofficient, added: “The NetSuite Platform is built in such a way that it allows us to enhance standard business processes using scripting within the system itself.
“This extensibility allows for seamless integration of enhanced workflows and functions without having to worry about the impact of future system upgrades.”
Cofficient has implemented NetSuite in two instances for Mail Marketing who have two legal entities.
Continued Mr Kinnaird: “It was a no-brainer to get Cofficient in for a second time.
“The first instance went well and we had first-hand experience of the time and effort Cofficient dedicated towards fully understanding our business, so we felt in safe hands.
“We knew they would deliver the best solution for our problems. Even though we already had certain key learnings, but Cofficient could still bring something new to the table.
“Not just interested in selling NetSuite off the shelf, we knew they would try and give us the best solution for our needs.”
Paul Tindal, director at Cofficient, says: “It has been wonderful working with Mail Marketing.
“They are a very proactive and forward thinking company. I look forward to helping them get the best out their system in the future and seeing how it continues to benefit their business in years to come.”
