THE Alloa Advertiser is seeking a dynamic and talented editor to lead and inspire its news team.
Applicants should have a good track record of editing a newspaper or hold a senior post with similar responsibilities and be able to demonstrate they can play a prominent role in delivering company objectives.
There will be a requirement to create a development plan that will organise resources to produce a first-class modern title, with the twin aim of building print and digital readership whilst providing the right platform for commercial growth.
With significant print experience, ambition and a strong hand on newsroom management, the right candidate will also be expected to have extensive knowledge and understanding of digital media.
The role also includes responsibility for free titles the Stirling News and the Strathallan Times.
