The Greenock Telegraph is seeking to appoint a sub-editor.
This is a demanding position and we’re looking for a flexible and enthusiastic production journalist for our award-winning six-day-a-week evening publication.
Applicants should have a sound journalistic background, and have experience in both text editing and page design. A working knowledge of Adobe InDesign is also essential.
Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to work quickly and accurately to meet our tight deadlines. Good organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a busy and vibrant team.
Experience of subbing for web pages would also be an advantage.
A full driving licence would be preferable, but is not essential.
Preference will also be given to applicants who are fully NCE qualified.
