EDINBURGH-based Halogen Communications is seeking an associate/PR account manager.
In addition to the day-to-day handling of traditional PR accounts, an element of crisis communications work will also be required. Position is currently remote but that could change to hybrid or office-based work.
We are looking for someone with experience of PR account management or someone who has a background in journalism.
You’ll have a strong contacts portfolio, exceptional communication skills, a professional manner and the ability to deliver creative, effective PR campaigns.
You’ll also have working knowledge of the Scottish political scene and a track record of dealing with reactive media lines.
Some travel within Scotland will be required, also occasional travel to London. A full driving licence is required.
Salary range £22-30k and is commensurate with experience.
