Your role:
The Scottish Sun is looking for a sub-editor to join our talented team on a full-time, permanent basis. The post is based in Glasgow.
Day to day:
The ideal candidate will have bags of creativity, a sharp eye for a headline and a passion for tabloid story-telling. They must be familiar with working at speed with accuracy, attention to detail and meticulous fact-checking. A flair for spotting hidden gems in reams of copy is essential.
The successful applicant will also have a broad knowledge of current affairs and popular culture, an excellent grasp of the English language as well as a strong understanding of the Editors’ code and relevant legislation.
They will also be flexible and able to work as part of a team across a seven-day rota.
