DO you have what it takes to lead The Courier’s business and finance coverage as our new Business Editor?
A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced, specialist journalist to get under the skin of the commercial life of Courier Country.
The successful candidate will be The Courier’s key link to the private sector in Tayside and Fife and will be expected to unearth exclusive front page news stories in addition to editing our daily business section and monthly Business Matters magazine.
They will also be expected to provide insightful comment and analysis on breaking news from the private sector locally and produce content for The Courier’s various digital platforms as required.
The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the business sector in Tayside and Fife, a strong and growing contacts book and bags of drive and determination to ensure The Courier is at the heart of the action in what are uncertain economic times.
They will also require a working knowledge of Companies House and the London Stock Exchange and have a full, clean driving licence.
This full-time role will be based at DC Thomson’s Meadowside headquarters in the heart of Dundee, which was recently dubbed the UK’s coolest little city and is home to the internationally lauded V&A Dundee design museum.
