DC Thomson Media is looking for multimedia journalists to join its teams in Dundee and Aberdeen.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work across print, digital and radio for some of Scotland’s best established and up-and-coming brands including the Evening Express, Evening Telegraph, Wave FM and lifestyle platform Society.
If you’re interested, you’ll need to have the drive and ability to ensure our readers and listeners get the best stories, features, video and audio content wherever and whenever they want it.
Working as part of a close-knit team and taking direction from senior colleagues you’ll work accurately and creatively to tight deadlines. And we don’t want you to be chained to your desk, so – armed with your state-of-the-art smartphone (and old-fashioned notepad!) – you will be out and about bringing your stories to life.
You will also be expected to be self-motivated, full of ideas, have a journalism qualification and newsroom experience – ideally with knowledge of digital publishing and video/audio editing. A full driving licence is also desirable.
An appetite to learn new skills is also essential as a wide range of training opportunities will be provided.
