THE Sunday Post is looking for a talented graphic artist to join our award-winning team for a fixed time.
We have an exciting opportunity for a graphic artist at Scotland’s newspaper of the year. The right individual will possess a mix of technical and creative skills to help deliver industry-leading pages, graphics and artwork for The Sunday Post.
The successful individual would also work on our in10 magazine which was named newspaper supplement of the year at the PPA Scotland magazine awards.
Key requirements for the role include:
* Creative designs skills with ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines;
* High knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; and
*Good organisational skills
Ideally, the candidate would be qualified to at least HND (or equivalent) level or have relevant experience in newspaper design.
Knowledge of the creation and use of newspaper templates and style sheets, as well as an understanding of template-driven pagination, would be an advantage.
