DC Thomson is seeking a talented assistant picture editor to join its award-winning team in Aberdeen.
Working with a team of picture editors and staff photographers you will help to co-ordinate coverage of breaking news, community events, sporting fixtures and feature packages for both The Press and Journal and Evening Express newspapers.
You will have great organisational skills and be comfortable dealing with all sections of the newspapers, ensuring the best photographs are taken by staff photographers or commissioned from freelance photographers.
Ideally, you will have photo editing experience, a great eye for photography and a desire to find the best way to illustrate the stories of the day.
