This is a golden opportunity to be in the thick of the action at the award-winning Press and Journal.

Based in Aberdeen, you would report to the news editor. As an assistant news editor, you will need a cool head, prove you can multi-task and handle copy with legal safety in mind.

You will be at the forefront of our news-gathering operation across six distinct daily editions and help to guide our team of reporters.

A sharp news sense and previous newsroom experience are essential.
