We are searching for a new editor-in-chief, who will be responsible for providing editorial direction to a large team of editorial and design talent.
You will be mixing creativity, commercial awareness, and a passion for developing people.
You should have a proven track record in publishing and management, but as well as having this experience up your sleeve, we need you to be positive, resourceful, inspired and inspiring.
Strategic thinking is key in this role, being able to plan through new efficient working practices; developing content strategically to maximise the magazines commercially and creatively; creating and developing ideas for brand extensions and new launches; planning how to resource the team to make sure we have the right people using and developing their strengths.
You’ll be part of the senior team in editorial, so will be a true leader.
As a great communicator, you’ll be leading your team and collaborating with others in Circulation, Advertising, Marketing, Insights and more.
You’ll also possess a desire and ability for developing talent – there’s a full team of brilliant writers and designers for you to motivate and grow the skills of to meet business needs.
You’ll be managing challenging workloads to deadline, so you must have strong leadership and organisation skills.
