SISTEMA Scotland is seeking a digital, communications and marketing assistant who will support the communications and marketing manager, to enhance the work of their Big Noise programmes.
This pioneering programme drew its initial inspiration from El Sistema in Venezuela and our vision is to transform lives of children through music.
We deliver on our vision through the creation of Big Noise programmes within communities.
Since its inception in 2007, the programme has grown and developed into a multi-faceted and immersive music education and social transformation programme which uses the orchestra as a learning community.
We currently run programmes in Raploch (Stirling), Govanhill (Glasgow) and Torry (Aberdeen). We will open a fourth centre in Douglas, Dundee, in autumn 2017.
You will provide support to the communications and marketing manager to enhance the work of the Big Noise programmes and communicate the positive impact which Sistema Scotland has on children and young people living in disadvantaged communities across Scotland.
You will support excellent communications within the organisation, with the communities we serve, and with partners, stakeholders and funders delivering a variety of content and design across multiple digital, print and social media platforms, as well as press and broadcast media.
You will also provide general administrative support. Previous experience of working in a communications or marketing assistant role is essential, along with excellent communication, graphic design, web editing, digital media, creative and organisational skills.
