THE Courier and Evening Telegraph are looking for a talented and enthusiastic journalist to create and run a new joint picture desk for DC Thomson’s daily newspapers in Dundee.
Ideally, you will have experience of working with photographers and as an executive on a newspaper. You will work with the editors of the two distinct titles to set up a joint picture desk to serve both newspapers.
You will have great organisational skills and be comfortable dealing with all sections of the newspapers and ensuring the best photographs are taken by staff photographers or commissioned from freelances.
You will also be comfortable working with digital products and ensure a steady flow of pictures and video for both titles’ websites.
