THE Boys’ Magazines team is looking for a 110% awesome Magazine Journalist to join our editorial team in Dundee!
The successful candidate will write brilliant, funny features for the target audience, as well as sourcing relevant images, securing money-can’t-buy prizes for competitions, and working with high-profile brands to produce age-appropriate content.
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, great at coming up with ideas, who understands what makes our readers tick, is a great team player, and, most importantly, know how to hit deadlines.
We’d also expect you to be up to speed on all things social media, and know which people to tag on Twitter and Instagram to make our posts go viral. OK, maybe not viral-viral, but you know what we mean!
If you’re able to video edit, or don’t mind taking on some super silly challenges in our YouTube videos then that would also be a bonus! Just promise you’ll remember us if you turn out to be the next Stampy, OK?
If you think you’ve got what it takes to impress the team, we want to hear from you!
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience. You should have an awareness of copyright laws and codes of practice and be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. In addition, it is anticipated you will have excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills, and a passion for publishing.
