Communications manager
Salary: £25,837 to £34,790
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
(Regular evening and weekend work, time off in lieu applies)
THE Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity located adjacent to the River Clyde in Glasgow City Centre. The Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with a life limiting, progressive illness, and support for their families and carers.
Patients are at the heart of all that we do and as our communications manager you will lead our small communications team to ensure the delivery of innovative PR and marketing activities to support this aim.
You will support the Hospice Strategy through the implementation of effective marketing and social media strategies, raising the profile of our services and enhancing the success of fundraising initiatives through both traditional and digital marketing and PR activities.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience you will also have significant experience in a related position, accompanied with experience of working with the media. With highly developed written and oral communication skills you will have the ability to influence both internal and external support.
