THE Dundee evening newspaper, the Evening Telegraph, has redesigned its website.
As well as the usual mixture of news and sport, www.thetele.co.uk includes a new Dundee Life section that – says the publisher, DC Thomson – “aims to capture the happier side of living in this fantastic part of Scotland”.
A media release issued by DC Thomson continues: “The website includes gallery after gallery of pictures of ordinary folk enjoying nights out, combined with a literal feast of restaurant, takeaway and pub reviews to help our readers plan their weekend fun.
“To make life easier, the website is adaptable for PC, mobile and tablet – so, wherever our readers are, they can enjoy www.thetele.co.uk.
“If readers like what they see on screen, they can subscribe to the digital version of the Evening Telegraph newspaper for even more news, features and sport. It’s available as an App on Newsstand.
The Evening Telegraph editor, Richard Prest, is quoted, as saying: “The website has a really fresh and vibrant look. We’re delighted by the response so far, with page views and visits are already well up on those experienced on previous site.”
