THE Church of Scotland magazine, Life and Work, has launched its first-ever website.
www.lifeandwork.org is being described by editor, Lynne McNeil, as “a landmark moment in the history of Life and Work”, adding it is “the first step in the 134 year-old magazine’s development for the future”.
She told allmediascotland.com: “The site will allow us to share more images, additional news and features with our readers and allow us to engage with a new audience interested in both the life of the Church of Scotland, faith issues and wider Christian life.”
The website launched on Monday at the beginning of this Holy Week and includes a series of reflections from the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Rt Rev Albert Bogle.
The decision to launch a website was taken at the Church’s General Assembly in 2010.
The magazine is monthly.
