THE use of social media in the upcoming Scottish independence referendum is to be discussed at a public lecture in Edinburgh next week.
Stewart Kirkpatrick, digital head at the YES Scotland campaign, will deliver a lecture on the groups use of social media at Edinburgh Napier University in the next instalment of ‘Media Mondays’.
Says a press release from Napier: ‘Stewart Kirkpatrick will talk about the key role online platforms have to play in the run-up to next year’s referendum on Scotland’s constitutional future.
Kirkpatrick, a former editor of Scotsman.com also launched the award-winning online news site, the Caledonian Mercury, before joining YES Scotland in August last year.
