THE Scotsman newspaper is now available as an app on Android devices following its launch at the start of the year as an app for iPads.
Says the paper: “The apps – which are now available on the Amazon Appstore and Google Play, as well as the Apple App Store – have been designed to offer readers a dynamic way to keep up to date whether at home or on the move.
“They feature full articles, videos and picture galleries plus the ability to browse through complete downloadable editions of the paper which can also be read offline later.”
The Scotsman editor, Ian Stewart, is quoted, as saying: “The existing Scotsman iPad has gone from strength to strength and we are delighted to be able to offer this quality product to users of other devices.
“It gives our readers, no matter where they are in the world, the opportunity to read The Scotsman as a normal newspaper or in a multimedia format.”
