A training course on how to make New Media boost one's earnings is being staged by the National Union of Journalists in Scotland.
The course – taking place on Monday in Glasgow – is being described the NUJ, thus: “Digital media provide enormous opportunities to promote creative work, articles and messages to an enormous audience. This course cuts through bewildering detail and hyperbolic jargon to deliver simple, practical skills to enable digital media to be used in an advantageous and sustainable way.
“Focusing on free, web-based tools, it will help participants to find and access their audiences and boost their online profile. The course is aimed at anyone wishing to make practical use of the internet and digital media to boost their earning power or showcase their skills more effectively. No previous knowledge of the medium is necessary.”
