A TWITTER feed of Scottish stories published by The Guardian has overtaken that of its Scotsman newspaper rival.
While scotsmandotcom has some 9,403 followers, gdnscotland has now 9,406.
It’s understood The Guardian made the breakthrough on New Year’s Day.
Both feeds eclipse those of allmediascotland: allmedianews (6,471), its media releases ‘stream’, newsnoticeboard (1,051) and its jobs board, allmediajobs (369).
Addition: While the Scotsman’s main twitter feed is scotsmandotcom, it operates several others, including football, the Six Nations rugby, news, business and showbiz – bringing its total of followers to almost 36,000.
