A SALARY of up to £70,000 is on offer for a digital group editor being sought by the publisher of The Herald newspaper.
In a job ad for the post, the Herald & Times Group says: “This is a rare opportunity for a highly-motivated individual with exceptional content skills and experience at a senior managerial level to shape and drive forward the online future of one of Scotland’s major media groups.
“The editor will report to and work closely with the group digital director and will be responsible for developing the HeraldScotland and Evening Times brands within the digital environment.
“The successful candidate will have a strong track record at a senior level in editorial or programme development within either online, print or broadcasting.”
In August, as reported by allmediascotland, David Milne left as group digital editor to join STV.
