Silver and bronze for trio of Scots entries in health media awards

THREE Scots entries have been named among the silver and bronze medal winners at an awards ceremony celebrating the best of health media.

The Best of Health Awards – run by the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising – saw Stripe Communications this evening take silver in the Consumer – Integrated Idea category for its Alcohol Behaviour Change campaign for the Scottish Government.

And silver was also won – this time in the Consumer – Film category –  for The Leith Agency’s breast cancer awareness campaign, also on behalf of the Scottish Government.

Meanwhile, a bronze was won in the Consumer – Online Display Advertising category, by Story, yet again for the Scottish Government. It was for a Healthier Scotland ‘Drop a Glass Size’, www.drinksmarter.org campaign.

The awards attracted 404 entries. There were five gold winners, 22 silver and 59 bronze, plus special prizes for Young Talent and Best Use of Photography, Copywriting, Illustration and Art Direction.
