A CALL for entries has been issued by the organisers of the Franco-Scottish Press Awards.

Wanted are print articles about France, published by the Scottish media. There are four subject categories and entries are required by the seventh of next month, with the winners chosen at an awards ceremony dinner in Edinburgh on the evening of February 26.

A RADIO station dedicated to reporting sport across Central Scotland is scheduled to launch on the first of next month.

It had been thought Eklipse Sports Radio might be launching during Autumn last year. The station’s website has a clock, counting down to the launch.

It is being reported that Eklipse will be soon announcing its full schedule and presenter line-up.
