STUDENTS involved in the ‘creative industries’ are being invited to meet prospective future employers operating in the media, at a festival taking place next year.
The annual Student Media Festival is being held in Glasgow in March, being organised by Creative Loop, which describes itself as “Scotland’s talent development hub for the creative media industries”.
It is taking place at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) in Glasgow on March 19 and 20.
Says Creative Loop: “Open to all creative industries students, the festival will feature presentations, workshops and masterclasses from leading industry figures working in film and television, radio and digital media.
“As the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games approach, the television strand of the festival will focus on live television production and the Glasgow 2014 Host Broadcaster Training Initiative.
“The two-day festival will conclude with the Creative Scotland Student Media Awards, which showcase and reward the best of Scotland’s emerging talent.”
