A TV series about wildlife on the Outer Hebrides is scheduled to be broadcast UK-wide after a successful showing in Scotland only.
Hebrides – Islands on the Edge, is to be broadcast on the BBC, throughout the UK, after its recent transmission on BBC Scotland. Its four-week run on BBC Two will begin on the 11th of next month, from 9pm.
It is narrated by Scots actor, Ewan McGregor, and made by Glasgow-based Maramedia, which yesterday announced a strategic partnership with KEO films.
When Hebrides – Islands on the Edge was broadcast on BBC One Scotland last month, around a quarter of the TV total audience tuned in to watch the programme.
