A SECOND series of an entertainment show involving two celebrity teams trying to outsmart each other has been commissioned from its makers, STV Productions.
Fake Reaction has earned its second series from ITV2 and, says STV, the ten, 45-minute episodes (up from eight episodes in series one), will air next year, with filming starting this Autumn.
Says a STV media release: “The first series of Fake Reaction was broadcast earlier this year attracting a peak audience of over half a million viewers.
“Each episode sees two celebrity teams forced to hide their natural reaction in a series of hilarious and sometimes shocking challenges. The celebrities put on their best poker face to undertake an array of outrageous trials, and the side who can best conceal their true reactions and fool the opposing team wins the game.”
The commissioning editor is Claire Zolkwer, ITV commissioning editor, Comedy Entertainment.
STV Productions developed the Fake Reaction format with LA-based production company, Kinetic Content. Fake Reaction is based partly on a Fuji TV game show format.
