THE commissioning editor at BBC Scotland, Ewan Angus, is among the exec producers of the film that will be closing the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
BBC Scotland is also among the funders of Not Another Happy Ending, which will be receiving its world premiere when it brings the festival to an end on the 30th of June.
The film – starring, among others, Karen Gillan, Stanley Weber, Amy Manson and Iain de Caestecker – is described as a ‘romantic comedy set in Glasgow’.
It is directed by John McKay (Crush, We’ll Take Manhattan), produced by Claire Mundell (Crying With Laughter, Weekend) of Synchronicity Films, co-produced by Wendy Griffin (Wasted) and written by David Solomons (The Great Ghost Rescue, Five Children and It).
