A GLASGOW-based independent TV production company has secured its first-ever commission from the BBC.
Firecrest Films has a track record in producing investigative journalism for Channel 4 News and also the channel’s Dispatches strand. But now it is to make a half-hour film for Panorama, to be broadcast on network BBC One in June. The reporter will be the award-winning investigative journalist, Shelley Jofre.
It is to be produced and directed by Richard Cookson and the executive producer will be Nicole Kleeman.
Obviously, there are no details what the investigation is about.
