THE person responsible for leading the BBC’s coverage of next year’s Commonwealth Games is speaking in Edinburgh next week.
Bruce Malcolm, who has spent more than 20 years working at the BBC, will be in charge of the Corporation’s coverage of the run up to and during Glasgow 2014.
He is speaking at Edinburgh Napier University, on Monday, at an event open to both students and members of the general public.
He is, says Napier, speaking at its regular Media Mondays event, to talk about his plans to “ensure that the whole of the UK is involved in the events of 2014″, which will include bringing together BBC Scotland, BBC Sport, BBC News and BBC Worldwide.
The event is free to attend and kicks off at 1pm. For more information, click here.
