A BBC Scotland sports journalist is the latest media figure scheduled to appear at a public lecture series in Edinburgh.
Chris McLaughlin, senior football reporter and regular presenter on BBC Radio Scotland’s ‘Sportsound’ programme, as well as on BBC Scotland’s Reporting Scotland, is returning to his former university, Edinburgh Napier, to talk about his career.
McLaughlin, who was shortlisted by Edinburgh Napier students for ‘Alumni of The Year’ at The Napier Journalism Awards in December, will share his experiences as a sports reporter at the university’s regular ‘Media Mondays’ series, attended by students and open to the general public.
Recent guests have included Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark, Channel 4 News chief correspondent Alex Thomson and BBC investigative reporter Mark Daly.
The talk is taking place at the university’s Merchiston Campus, from 1pm on Monday. For more information, click here.
