TWO journalists who were among the most high-profile in reporting the financial difficulties that resulted in Rangers last year being placed into the fourth-top tier of men’s football in Scotland are to discuss the reporting of the club – in Edinburgh next week.
BBC Scotland’s Mark Daly and Alex Thomson of Channel 4 News are the latest speakers at ‘Media Mondays’ at Edinburgh Napier University.
Open to media students at the university and members of the public alike, Media Mondays has already included in its roster of speakers the likes of Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark, STV head of content Alan Clements, former deputy head of news and current affairs at BBC Scotland Val Atkinson, and Ray Snoddy, former Media editor of The Times.
