HOLIDAY programme, Scottish Passport, is set to return early next year, broadcaster STV announced today.
Scottish Passport 2013 will start on the seventh of next month, with each show in the series presented by a different Scots personality, including former STV News presenter, Sarah Heaney, and crime drama, Taggart stars, Alex Norton (pictured) and Blythe Duff.
Says Elizabeth Partyka, deputy editor of channels at STV, in a media statement: “Scottish Passport is the ultimate getaway from the comfort of your own sofa. The show visits lots of exotic places, but also covers a range of city breaks closer to home so there really is something for everyone. I hope the new series gives our viewers inspiration for their next holiday.”
Next year’s STV schedule is to include an “historical look at the independence question in Scotland”, a return of the animal welfare programme, Animal 999, and a new food series involving celebrity chefs, Paul Rankin and Nick Nairn.
