APPLICATIONS are being invited for six training posts in TV and film.
The invite is from a scheme operated by the Edinburgh-based Screen Academy Scotland.
Screen NETS Advance is looking to take on trainees in animation production, assistant directing editing, locations, production accounts and script supervising.
Say the organisers: “Trainees are offered up to 20 weeks of funded work placements on feature film and TV drama productions, along with bespoke short training courses or one-to-one mentoring with an industry practitioner.
“Over the past year, five Screen NETS Advance trainees have received both short course training and high quality ‘on the job training’ on feature films (Filth, The Railway Man, Not Another Happy Ending and Sunshine on Leith) and TV dramas (Case Histories, Murder and Doors Open) and with an animation studio in Glasgow (Axis). An additional seven trainees were supported in their career development with bespoke training workshops and mentoring.”
The deadline for applications is January 4. For more information, click here.
