Current affairs BAFTA for TV investigation into Rangers

A TV investigation into the financial troubles that engulfed Rangers FC earlier this year has been named among the winners at the Scottish BAFTAs.

Mark Daly’s piece, ‘Rangers – The Men who Sold the Jerseys’, was made for BBC Scotland and, to win the current affairs award, it had to fight off the challenge of Eorpa and Travellers.

Held last night in Glasgow, the awards also saw Billy Connelly recognised for his outstanding contribution to film and television.
