THE SCOTTISH Sunday Express columnist, Brian Swanson, has added his voice to the chorus against having cameras into criminal courts.
Writing today, he writes: “…I [can] see no circumstances in which [the] interests of justice would be better served by having proceedings televised.”
He was writing in the wake of a Scottish Parliament committee on Tuesday which heard high-profile lawyers, Aamer Anwar and Donald Findlay, outline their objections.
