A SCOTS competition recognising journalism about ‘green’ issues is seeking entries.
Three weeks tomorrow – the 26th – is the deadline for entries to the inaugural Best Journalism prize at the Scottish Green Energy Awards.
Say the organisers: “This award recognises the journalist who has produced the best article or broadcast about renewable energy in Scotland. The award will go to a journalist that demonstrates a high quality of writing, explains complexities in renewables in a balanced way, promotes understanding of renewables in a manner that is accurate and engaging to the reader and demonstrates good practice and high ethical standards.”
The organisers are Scottish Renewables, a membership organisation representing more than 300 companies working in the renewable energy industry in Scotland. Its annual Scottish Green Energy Awards – on December 6, in Edinburgh – has sold out its 1,000 tickets.
