THE director of BBC Scotland, Ken MacQuarrie, has survived a streamlining of the BBC’s management board, which has been reduced from 22 to 12.
MacQuarrie – along with his counterparts in Wales and Northern Ireland – remain part of the Corporation’s ‘inner circle’, following the move by the BBC’s new director-general, George Entwistle.
Among those removed is creative director, Alan Yentob, as reported here.
