A GROUP of young people last night ‘graduated’ as apprentices from BBC Scotland.
Ten young people were taken on in September last year, to begin work towards a modern apprenticeship in Creative and Digital Media. And last night, nine completed the course.
The course – run in collaboration with creative industries sector skills body, Skillset Scotland, and John Wheatley College, in Glasgow – was formally set up as part, says BBC Scotland, “of our commitment to the legacy of the Olympic and Commonwealth Games”.
Another group of ten are starting in the middle of next month.
