THE production arm of STV has secured a new commission from BBC2, for a new, 20-part, daytime cooking show.
The new show is STV Productions’ third series commission for BBC2 and follows four series of Antiques Road Trip and one series of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.
The development, including a programme pilot, is co-funded by STV Productions, BBC and Creative Scotland. Last year, Creative Scotland announced a development partnership with STV Productions for programmes developed in Scotland.
The new cooking show will see eight chefs, travelling in pairs around Britain in a vintage van, to compete in a local cookery competition.
The eight chefs are Aldo Zilli and Silvena Rowe, Rachel Allen and Theo Randall, Jun Tanaka and Galton Blackiston, and Valentine Warner and Ed Baines.
