THE Fife commercial radio station, Kingdom FM, has promoted its financial director to the role of station director.
Blair Crofts succeeds Kevin Brady, who is understood to have taken a career break.
A Kingdom FM media statement quotes the station’s chair, Ian Livingstone, as saying: ”Blair has been a key member of the management team since 2004, he is commercially astute and has a wealth of knowledge within the radio industry and we are delighted that he has accepted the new role.”
Crofts is quoted, as saying: ”Kingdom FM is a truly fantastic radio station with a dedicated staff and everyone involved with the station is committed to its continued success. My role is to ensure that the station performs at a commercial level as well as delivering an outstanding service to our ever growing band of loyal supporters.”
The statement end: “2012 has proved a highly successful year for Kingdom FM, with record audience figures of 83, 400 people tuning in each week.”
