FANS of the Royal Highland Show have the chance of tuning into an hour-long review of it on TV, courtesy of a newly-launched Edinburgh-based production company.
Impact Production is the brainchild of Adam Cromarty, who is graduating in journalism from Edinburgh Napier University. He is also an official of the British Showjumping Association, has a HND in equine science and commentates at equestrian events.
The programme is being screened on the specialist TV channel, Horse and Country TV (SKY 280), on Wednesday at 7.00pm.
The Royal Highland Show, which takes place at Ingliston, near Edinburgh, took place a fortnight ago and attracted an estimated 150,000 visitors.
Cromarty co-presents the show with former showjumper now model, Sarah Finlay. The hour-long show – which was edited by Cromarty’s fellow student, Ryan Tudor – gets a repeat airing on Thursday at 9.30pm, Sunday at 11.30am and Monday at 2.00pm.
Said Cromarty: “The programme looks across the broad spectrum of the Royal Highland Show, which I am led to believe makes it something of a first. It was an exciting programme to work on and I hope to be able to return next year.”
