A GLASGOW-based TV post-production company is reportedly creating eight new jobs, following an expansion.
Reports both The Herald and The Scotsman today, Editworks Scotland is investing £200,000 in new editing and audio suites.
The move is said to follow the awarding of a £68,000 government grant. Says The Scotsman, the eight new jobs are on top of five already there.
Andrew Barrett, chair of Editworks Scotland – which has a London parent office – is quoted, as saying: “We see Scotland, and specifically Glasgow and its Digital Media Quarter, as a superb place to house our operations thanks to the facilities, culture and opportunities that Scotland’s vibrant broadcast sector offers.”
